Building a foundation begins with thorough site preparation. Before any pouring begins, our team will meticulously clear, level and grade the site to ensure structural integrity and proper drainage going forward. Excavation follows, with trenches dug below the frost line to prevent weather-related movement of the structure. Next, we’ll erect forms to define the foundation's shape and dimensions. These forms serve as molds, holding the concrete in place until it sets.

Finally, concrete is poured into the forms, spread carefully and levelled to achieve the desired thickness and surface finish. Following pouring, the concrete must undergo a curing process to reach its maximum strength. Once cured, the forms are removed, revealing a brand-new solid foundation beneath. 

We’ll finish the project by backfilling and compressing soil around the fresh foundation to give it support, then waterproofing it with specialized spray. A thorough and careful work ethic is necessary to create a foundation made to last—that’s why we take every step of the job seriously!
